Trug the hedgehog lives in the forests of Bellinwood where he spends his days foraging for mushrooms and toadstools! Please note…this is a more advanced and a two day class. Students should have a good grasp of needle felting and sculpting with wool to attend. There will be some simple hand sewing as well. Trug’s body is formed over a cotton wire armature using core wool. His pants and shirt are created from needle felted roving while his vest is cut from felt and sewn. Trug’s hedgie quills are made from mohair sewn into a hood shape to fit his head. His little boots will be hand made by yours truly:) ahead of time. His wee pack will be sewn and straps added. Tiny toadstools and greenery will fill the pack. Trug will add a sweet and whimsical touch to your Christmas decor! He stands about 6 inches high and is semi posable.
