Create an "Alpine Strawberry Plant" with guest teacher Michele Vellrath!!
Bring a little strawberry sunshine into your home! Join Michele in learning the art of creating crepe Paper botanicals….designing and making an Alpine Strawberry Plant nestled in a terra cotta pot! No prior experience needed!
In this all day class you will learn the art of covering wire with German crepe paper floral tape, making several leaf sprigs followed by mod podge to stiffen. Michele will then guide you through creating a couple of tiny blossoms along with sweet strawberries. The berries will be finished off in sparkly German glass glitter! The finished realistic looking plant stands about 10 inches high including the pot!
