Learn to Needle felt Rolo and Junebug Hummer friends! "Beginner Friendly!"
Did you know hummers are the only birds that can fly backward!I In this all day class you will learn the art of needle felting wool roving over a cotton wire armature utilizing barbed felting needles. During the class you will have materials to create two hummers! The first being Rolo, a Rufous hummingbird. These tiny birds have the longest migration pattern of any bird, over 3,000 miles from Alaska to Mexico. Unfortunately their numbers are in serious decline. The 2nd hummer will be your choice! There will be many colors of wool to choose from! The bird beak is made with floral tape and tiny bird feet will be fabricated using thin cloth covered wire. Black glass eyes bring these tiny magical birds to life!!

The class will be limited to a small group of seven and includes all materials!
Ages 15+
Please feel free to bring a snack or sack lunch and drink along for an afternoon break. I will also provide treats and tea along with plenty of fun filled whimsy!
