Meet Sasha and Tawny Swan!

A baby swan is called a cygnet and stays with it’s Mother the first six months of life.
When tired from swimming, a cygnet will climb on Mother’s back for a little rest.

This sweet pair are needle felted from sheep wool over a cotton wire armature.
Sasha is adorned with a rose and pearl ribbon. She stands about five inches high at her head.
Her body is 7 inches long.

Baby Tawny is about 2.5 inches long and fits snugly in the shallow hollow of Mama Sasha’s back.
